Now I'm running and screaming,
I feel like a hero and you're my heroine.

Three days ago, I was on my way to Genting, a resort in Malaysia.
Now, I'm back in Penang, our little hawker food haven of an island.

Three days ago, at 7.47 a.m. Rachel called my cellphone.
It didn't ring. It vibrated on the floor. And I was still asleep on the bed.
Bzzz.. Bzzz..
That woke me up.

Rachel ; Me

...H-hello?
Weyhhhhh! WHERE ARE YOU? WHY AREN'T YOU HERE YET?
H-huh? I thought you said at night? You mean we're supposed to go now?
YEAH LA!


Day 1:

Chaos in the morning. I didn't have any transport at all.
Mom was supposed to fetch me after she comes back from KL, which is 5.30 p.m.
My grandparents ended fetching me to dad's place which was on the other side of the island.
Along the way, my grandmother dearest was nagging all the way. On how unprepared I am, that I didn't ask the time properly when I did ask and prepare for the first time in my life.
Nag nag nag.
That's what she's good at. She scolded my grandfather for shouting at a motorcyclist because that fella was riding recklessly. "You'll get punched for no reason for not being able to tolerate their behaviour." Yet, she's saying hurtful stuffs to me, which I will never mention here.
We had to rush to Juru as the transport didn't wait for me when they were still in Penang.
Dad drove really fast. Really, really fast, weaving in and out to take over the other vehicles.
Along the way, again, he went
Nag nag nag.
I was thiiiiiiiis close to hysteria. Like. This.

When I got to Juru, another panic attack.
I was on the phone with the Uncle, but I don't see anyone.
I began questioning, did I get the right stop or is it further down?
Wanted to tell my dad that but he'll eat me alive.
I had to pretend to see them in that area already, and I walk inside.
Rachel, my wife, popped out of nowhere screaming "EVON!"
Then, sense of relief washed all over me. What a start.
What a start!

Shhheep was with me on the bus. I was hugging him.
I couldn't sleep anymore because of the sun so, I went to the back.
Then, I couldn't sleep again. Why? I was hungry.
I rushed out of the house after brushing my teeth, packing my clothes and food violently ( Aini was the one that put my things in place. ) washed my face and a lot of phone calls.
No breakfast. And my food was in the luggage which was out of reach. Great.
Decided to talk to Terry for a bit.

So who's going there?
My wife. ;3 Two more girls, Regina and Venne, and Venne's boyfriend.
Your who?
Wife. Hee.
Hey, no funny business, kay?

Tee hee. It was funny. After that, I went back to the front.
Rachel asked me if I want to go the back to talk. So we went to the back of the bus.
We ran out of topics after a while.
(I did tell you that this conversation will go into my blog, babes. Lol.)

So much for taking a heli there, huh, Zi Xin?
Aiyahh. My husband (Kyle Patrick) busy on tour mahh~
Yeah, right. *laughs*
Yeah la! He just bought me a mansion you know! Got 12 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Then he say wanna buy cars for me. He wanna buy 12 cars. Then I ask him where he wanna put the cars, in the rooms a? One room one car. Then he said he wanna build a garage. Got Ferrari, got Lamborghini.. Some for me, some for him. For me, he buy red one cuz he knows I like red. Then a, he say wanna build an amusement park beside there. He want to build the longest roller coaster in the world. Then got artificial lake as big as Penang's sea. He said wanna buy boats and jet skis. Then he want to build golf course, but I don't let. Then he said wanna build stable put horses in there. I ask him, so you wanna open a farm la now? And he said pity the animals. You know a, we very kind wan. Last year, we donated 2 million to SPCA you know?
*laughs more* Yeahhhhhh, right.
Regina turned back to see what was going on.
Regina! Come listen to this girl. *laughs*
And so Regina joined in our conversation about Rachel's husbands that only lasts five years each because there are so many of them waiting in line for her. And that Brad Pitt left Angelina Jolie for her and Tom Cruise will wait for her. XD Then Rachel said Angelina can go away with her thick lips and her bunch of kids, while she comes in with her thick face. I laughed like a hyena through out the journey.

We were close to Genting already. The bus stopped at a cafe called Mr Sotong. (Sotong = Squid)
The Malay lady in there was hitting on Yee Hoong even with Venne there.

Eh, don't try to do anything funny, my wife is here. *points to Venne*
She's just a kid, you should pick an old lady like me.
What the hell? Yee Hoong treated us for lunch.

It was raining cats and dogs when we got to Genting. So, plans for the Outdoor Theme Park was canceled. :[ We had to check in to the hotel before we can really do anything at all. And there were 100 people in front of us. So, we chucked our luggage plus my boyfriend, Shhheep, and went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not. There were lots of interesting things there but I couldn't capture the pictures because my phone died. :/ And I forgot my charger.
I love the part where they have the tie collection. A tie, a day for thirty years. And the slanted room. We went back to the check in area after Ripley's and there were 50 more people in front of us. So we went for the Indoor Theme Park instead. Euro Xpress, the roller coaster wasn't scary at all. Yet, there were people screaming their lungs out. After 2 rounds, we went back again.
Finally! We've got our rooms! heart heart!

We went to Burger King for dinner. It was pricey there, even for a fast food restaurant. All I had was a float and a whopper junior. For the price of these two items, I could actually get a Whopper set for less in the KL International Airport. Venne and her boyfriend ate the most expensive meal for dinner. 52 dollars for 2 sets, some nuggets and cheese sticks. The way Yee Hoong cursed the price was so funny.

Ours is about 42 dollars.
Omg. Why so expensive? I thought you're taking the promotion thingy?
Regina joined us.

7 dollars.
*curses* We're eating for 42 dollars and there they are, eating way cheaper than us.
Rachel sat down.

17 dollars.
*curses again*
LOL!
Hey, wanna eat some nuggets?
Anything.
*walks back after a few more minutes with two small packets*
What the f**k. 9.90 for this six pieces of thin crap.
The nuggets were long-ish, unlike McDonald's usual roundish nuggets.
We couldn't stop laughing because he kept cursing at the food.
I think all of their meals combined are cheaper than ours. How much are your meals again?

Oh my god. I'm so full. *rubs stomach* I can't eat anymore.

After walking out of Burger King, he asked Venne if she wants to go grab some muffins.
LOL! He just said he's full and he wanted some muffins already. He gave away the fries to the person in charge of the Bumper Cars. Rachel was sitting with me in Bumper Cars and we were chasing Yee Hoong, trying to bang him but he kept running away. There was a kid that was over dramatic. I slammed into the side of his car and he went "Ahhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhhh!" and Rachel and I both went speechless for a second.

Next stop was Snow World! Can you believe it? x3 After years of wanting to play with snow.
My wish came true! It was -2 degrees Celcius in that place. Freezing cold but I was sweating in there. :x We went around playing with the snow, making snow balls and throwing it at each other. I was planning on making a Snowman like Mr Snowzors but it was foiled. How? I was squatting down on the ground beside a mountain of snow, packing a snowball in my hands, trying to make it bigger and SPLAT! Yee Hoong threw a snowball onto my head. Rawr went von. The mentioned packed snowball hit him on his back and crumbled. There goes part of Mr Snowzors Junior. Rachel was next to get hit by Yee Hoong, on the head too. We teamed up and chased him around the place with snow in our hands. 40 minutes went by and we had to go out already. DDD:

Then we went for the other rides in the theme park. The motion master was.. childish. :/ It was a little exciting? XD Ferris wheel, Floating Gondola, Gondola, and another round of the roller coaster. There were these Arabian women that sat behind us that screamed through out the ride. Yee Hoong said they sounded like they were squeezed by some ghost. I think we went on everything except for the Reindeer ride. It was about 9.30 p.m. when we got back to the room.
After showering and washing our hair, Venne and Yee Hoong joined us in our room. Yee Hoong had a karaoke session in our room. Laughed the whole night.

At 12, we were going to bed already. We had pillow talk and I felt horrible. My heart was beating very fast since 10 p.m. and it feels like something was sitting on my chest. I fell asleep after a while and I woke up at 3 a.m., barely able to breathe. My heart felt like it's being stabbed over and over again with a long sharp knitting needle. I called mom and she told me I'm having a minor heart attack. A HEART ATTACK? That's near impossible for my age. Then again, you can never be too sure. :/

Day 2 :

Venne called us up at 7.30 a.m. Why so early? We had to settle things regarding our room. We went around the place for nothing. Everything was closed. D: And Rachel, Regina and I were in our PJs. We went back to our room to shower. I had to go see a doctor to confirm that I'm not having a heart attack. I went in and the doctor said I had reflux (gastric) and ANXIETY? I felt completely comfortable with them. I wasn't anxious about anything at all. All of them were waiting with me in the clinic though they were hungry and there was an Indian man that was making puking noises because he had gastric. Even with gastric, that idiot was drinking Coke.

And we had breakfast later on in some Chinese restaurant. Off we go to the Outdoor Theme Park. Woohoo!
What was our first ride..?
The Mine train thingy. We sat in the carts in pairs, except for Regina. So it's Venne - Yee Hoong,
Rachel - Von and Regina - Regina. It's soooooo going to be scary!

IF! Heh.

The ride started off really fast. It turned into the tunnel almost immediately and we were thrown to the left and right until we were going up the tracks. That was it. We're all going to die. We're so dead. Rachel and I went Oh my god oh my god oh my god all the way. When we reached the top, we were so ready to scream. But wait! Nothing happened. No sudden drop, nothing. We went to the right and the sudden drop came after that, which wasn't that bad. At the end of the ride, Rachel went, "That's all?" XD Seriously, that's all? It went around the tracks for just one round. The next ride was the Flying Dragon, another train ride. It was supposed to be scary but like the mine train, it was okay. We went back to the hotel to check in again and at 4 p.m., we went back to the outdoor theme park. We went around the park in some of the craziest rides, like the Swing, Corkscrew (only Venne, Regina and Yee Hoong went for this. ) , Cyclone.

There was a ride in the theme park called Crazy Space Lab with many weird, scary looking things in it. And the sound. Maybe I was being a claustrophobic. The ride was so ridiculous that at the end of the ride, someone yawned. Almost everyone in there burst into laughter. After a few rounds of almost every ride in the park, we went out for the Flying Coaster! Now, that looked scary. I sat out with Rachel when Regina, Venne and Yee Hoong went on it the first time. Woohoo! That was what Yee Hoong shouted when he was on all of the rides.

About 7 p.m., we went to some place called First World Cafe to redeem our free dinner. Buffet-style dinner. One of us couldn't eat because the free dinner was for 4 of us only. We had to pay for the other person to eat with us. So, we planned everything out, we will share to pay for the fifth person. When Rachel approached the waitress at the entrance, she told Rachel rudely that there aren't enough food and that the fifth person cannot enter the dining area.
We talked to the manager and the manager said it's okay. :/ The waitress being very rude to the manager as well. So we all got in there, and we took lots of food. Lots and lots of food. And some cherry tomatoes. I gave Rachel some of the tomatoes and told her "Eh, Rachel, 'puto'. (Puto is grapes.)" Then Rachel gave it to Yee Hoong and told him that it's a grape. He took it and looked at it for a few seconds, then made a disgusted face and threw it down.

'Puto' story, the first:

I thought you don't like vegetables one?

He fell for it again in Genting. XD

The lamb and the noodles were the only good food there though the noodles were salty( Fruits and raw vege too, duh.). Some lamb fell onto Rachel's hoodie after Venne and Yee Hoong went for a walk outside.

Back at the room, Regina was showering. Rachel took her hoodie and buried her face into her hoodie. A few seconds later she sat up, and went "Ahhhhh~" like.. You know,on a hot, sunny day and you have a refreshing drink with you and you take a sip out of it? Just like that but with a drug addict kind of expression. LOL.

Next, the cinema! There were three movies showing, Valkyrie, Punisher and Kung Fu Chefs.
Punisher was rated r18 and they didn't want to watch Valkyrie. We ended up watching Kung Fu Chefs instead.

The Ticketing Guy ; Rachel ; Venne

We'll take the Kung Fu Chefs at 9ish.
Okay. How many people for Kung Fu Chifs? (I heard Chips, not so sure.)
Pfft.. Five. How much is it?
It is 11 dollars but if you choose the red colored seats, it is 16 dollars. We will provide you with popcorns, soft drinks and snakes.
What?! Snakes?!
Shhh. It's snacks. *scoffs*

After the movie, we went for bowling. Everyone except for me played as I was feeling very tired. Regina and Rachel were first timers while Venne and Yee Hoong played before. Yee Hoong managed to get a strike and at the end, most of it went down the gutter. Rachel managed to get a spare and Venne got 2 strikes? I can't remember. Regina did quite well for a first timer too. At the end of the game, Venne won the game, followed by Rachel then Yee Hoong and Regina.

Next, we walked around the mall, but most of the shops were either closed or closing. We ended up in Starbucks! Yay! Venne had Mocha.
Out of the blue, Yee Hoong suggested that we go to a pub.

Kia la, wa lang ki 'pub'. (Let's go to a pub.)

Wa kua tio tua lai bin. (I saw a pub inside.)

*points middle finger*
*sits back down*
*laughs* What does that mean?
N-O, no. *smiles*
Your Mocha. You have to finish it.
Oh my god. My head hurts so much.
Mhm. Your eyes are red already, let's go back to the room.
All because of the four of you. Made me so confused that my veins burst.
What does it have to do with us? Where's the logic?
I asked if we can go somewhere and either one of you will say no. When I ask Regina, she will say no. When I ask von, she will say no. When I ask Rachel, she too will say no. And when I ask you, you will say no as well. I need to think properly of a place, where everyone will want to go. So, that's when I have to strain my eyes.
What can you see from here that is suitable for us?
I have to see different places like that place, *points to a taxi stand* or there or there. (He was pointing everywhere.)
Who would want to go to a taxi stand? Please.
Everyone laughed at him again. XD He's so funny. We ended up in our rooms. I died on the bed on the spot as soon as I took my anti-anxiety pills.

Day 3 :

Today, we're going back to Penang already. D: We packed our stuffs and checked out of our rooms. We had breakfast in some chinese restaurant. I had Tom Yam noodles! It tasted like blehhh. Then we went for a round of Flying Coaster. This time, I joined them. It was actually fun, not that scary at all. But it stinked. The seat smelt like.. Body odour with lots and lots of cheap perfume. Very heavy body odour. The ride :

1. I felt like I was flying, though there's something blocking my vision. Still cool.
2. The scent disappeared for a while, while we were on the ride. I guess fear > sense of smell?
3. The smell came back after the ride slowed down. Yuck.
4. The 360 degrees part felt like I was rolling on my bed, midair.
5. Cyclone is still scarier. *giggles*

Then we were on our way back from Genting. We stopped by Mr Sotong again but we've decided to go to the other coffee shop as the horny old woman was there. In the other coffee shop, they were selling a helmet for 1 dollar. XD Fancy that, people. And they were doing illegal booking in the shop itself. Hmm..

Yee Hoong's favourite sentences that made our days :
Wahh~ Ai chiak ha mi? Si beh eau ah. (What to eat? I'm hungry.)
He said this right after Bumper Cars. Lots of times, in fact.

Woohoo!
Rides, scary and non-scary. Especially on the Swing when everyone made noises that sounded like they were possessed.

Kanineh. Siang ka ho kui tenh tiok ah neh. Woo woo kio. (Motherfucker. They sound like they were possessed. [Rough translation]) Woohoo!... WOOHOO!
*laughs*

Ai chiak muffin bo? Kia ki beh muffin. (Wanna eat muffins? Let's go buy some muffins.)
That was what made Rachel call him 'Muffin Boy'.

And that, dear readers, was my 3 days 2 nights trip to Genting! I had my driving test the next day. Ttyl~ Woohoo!
