BACK!Truth be told, I miss you.
Truth be told, I am lying. Helloooooo people! I've been gone for more than a week, haven't I? Mind you, the fever knocked me out like.. Boom. Lol. I was blogging the night it hit. Here it is. When you see my face, Hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell. Days to yearly bonus : 0 (Yay!) Tong tong chiang~ It's Chinese New Year, baby! I'm writing this in a lightheaded manner so hope you don't mind whatever crap I'm going to write or the grammatical errors. I think I'm going to be sick. I feel so cold but my forehead's really warm. My hands are cold. Back to the subject, yesterday, we went to Grandmom's place at about 4 p.m. because dad's wife had to work at 7 p.m. Ariel, for the first time in this year, (or rather any other year.) was playing with us. She's this 2 1/2 years old girl who is my niece. We had dinner the usual way, where we have two separate tables, (One for the adults and one for the youngsters.) and Grandmom will cook up a storm in the kitchen. I must say, the taste of her dishes improve every year. After dinner, we yee sang/ lou sang-ed. Then, it was time.. Time to gamble. :x Shh. Don't tell anyone. Dad's always the banker and the whole family will gather around the round table while dad deals the cards. We played Siamese Blackjack. Dad ended up losing when my cousin bet his whole stash of winnings and ended up getting a quadruple(They call it fourper. XD) fold. Poor daddy. Will be updated more when I feel better. Pictures will be uploaded soon too. von. ♥♥♥ That was that night. A night of shivering. The next day, on Chinese New Year itself, we gambled again and I won about $50. My other cousin, Kevin was "cursing" dad's cards. (It worked somehow until dad went to wash his hands. It was funny watching dad and Kevin quarrel.) Which reminds me, I do not have a picture with Kevin. You're my singing buddy, Kevin! Well, used to be. After the whole Siamese Blackjack kind of mumble jumble, we played another game called "In between". Will explain that to you if you want to know. Not in here though. Too lazy to type it out now. That's when I began to feel the fever again. Went to bed at 8.30 p.m. Unbelievable, huh? I began shivering violently under 3 layers of covers. I was feeling very cold even though dad said I was burning hot. In the morning, I felt better. Back to Grandma's place to collect more money. We went to my almost relative's place, the woman who cared for me when I was a baby while Mommy and Daddy went to work. I promised to go back there afterward but.. The stupid fever hit again. I got back home and was knocked out flat on the bed. I slept in for a long time. More than two days. I went online in between but I could not sit for more than 30 minutes on the computer. Attempted to stay on the computer twice. We went to the doctor's on the third day. Dad went out with his friends to some club. (Yes, he went clubbing.) He came home after I called smelling like a hospital somehow. The smell of alcohol just reminded me of a hospital. Mom came back the next day and took me to another doctor as the fever wasn't going down. Throw up count : 3 times. The doctor was so irrational! Mom wanted a referral letter to the hospital just in case if I needed to be admitted into the hospital. She refused to give us the letter and after more persuasion, she told mom that she'll give her the letter but she refused to prescribe any medication in a rude way. Mom suspected that it was dengue. (High fever that goes on and off, back aches [Maybe from too much sleep.], sore throat, throwing up and I looked like a lobster? XD That's what the doctor called me when I had dengue at 5.) So off we went to Adventist Hospital! :D Mom's friend was on leave so we had another doctor, another friend of hers, Dr Chang. As the doctor came in, he did a few check-ups (Blood pulse, lungs, abdomen, etc.) Then he told the nurse to collect some blood samples and to put me on IV drips because I was dehydrated. IV drips means needles.. Correction, one LONG needle and sleepless nights of not being able to move the hand too much. Oh the horror. The way the nurse sterilized my hand with the alcohol swab. The sight of the needle. Grabbing a handful of the covers covering me, I braced myself for the dreaded pain. She was having a hard time looking for my vein. I could see it there, all puffy and stuff, and she couldn't see a thing?! She kept tapping my left hand and finally she poked me with the needle. It was.. Not that bad. :D Painful, yes but not more than an injection though I could feel the thing in my vein. She started to collect "a little blood". 20 ml + a few test tubes (1 Tall and skinny, 2 short and fat) The best part was, she collected it as if she's collecting milk from the thing she poked me with. Everything went blank for a minute there and I was staring at the ceiling, not noticing that I'm shivering violently until mom told me I was. I had to be hospitalized. They did different tests. From blood test to X-Ray to urine test to heart ultrasound (the doctor (male) touched me.. ._.! naked. ) to another blood test. Again, another blood test. So that's three blood tests all together. Filthy bloodsuckers. My precious blood. :/ The good thing is, I found out that I am an O+. Universal donor! Woohoo! Got back home after 5 days in the hospital. They took out my injecting port thingy and it was longer than what I felt. Yes, I prod it with my right pointer. The port was a good old thing. They had to jab the antibiotic into my bloodstream. Which means, no need for more needles. What's the first thing I did when I got back? Wash my hair. Eww eww eww! Imagine not being able to wash your hair. Eww. Then mom made me bath with some leaves in the bath water. Superstitious. >.> She even rubbed my whole body with a hard boiled egg when the doctor said it might be malaria or some other sickness that I forgot what it was. In the end, they couldn't find what was wrong with me, couldn't find the source or the bacteria. Nothing at all. Dad's friend asked for the diagnosis via MSN (he's a doctor too.) and he called me an alien. D: I'm not an alien. :< size="2">♥ ♥ von searching for her glasses. HELP!
