Singapore 'o8!At 11.30 p.m., we began our journey to Singapore as promised by mom.
We went there by bus because mom does not want to drive there. "Too tiring!" she said. Does not matter. It will be fun anyway. If she saves on fuel, that means more money for a shopping spree, no? xD We had four luggage, (Mom, Ivan, me and my aunt who is also known as my godmother.) and not forgetting, my ever oh-so-adorable Sheep. (My ginormous soft toy given by Ivan and Adeline) So, we boarded the bus at about 11.15 p.m. In the bus, there were personal TVs, game consoles and headsets. Somewhat airplane-ish. Ivan and I planned to play some games initially but they turned out to be like the ones back in the 1990s. Meh. We ended up watching movies instead. Ivan watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and I watched Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium. (The two old ladies were snoring away in front of us.) Day 1: At about 10 a.m., we finally reached Singapore. (Darn driver took so long to get there.) Yay! First stop, our residence in Singapore. Which is also my aunt's place, The Draycott. It is located near Scotts Road and Orchard Road. (Shoppers' Paradise if you do not know.) After washing up, we went to Bugis with MRT because Ivan mentioned something about going there. Bugis was like Prangin Mall + Chow Kit Street. But there were Gothic Lolita stuffs there and the jackets there were like.. SGD 10? That is effing cheap! We went to Takashimaya after that. We walked into Gucci and the old ones succumbed into some kind of frenzy looking at those bags. They spent almost two hours in there. My aunt finally bought a red-hot Gucci bag. At night, we went to Jumbo for dinner. It is located by the sea side. We had black pepper crab, chilli crab and some kind of nyonya fish. And gosh! Yummeh! Day 2: The next day, we went to Orchard Road for some Burger King awsm-ness. Hey! Who can deny the scrumtious Whopper with bacons? And it is a must to have BKs whenever we are in Singapore. And off we go on our shopping spree in Vivo. We walked and walked all over again and the shop that caught my eyes were the National Georgraphic store. Like I know, right? Ivan and I went into this electronic store and we ended up in the Xbox 360 section. The demonstrators were playing Guitar Hero. Finally a good looking guy in Singapore. And he was not even a Singaporean. He was a Caucasian. So far, the girls there were not attractive at all. (Except for the large anount of foreigners.) It is either they look totally ugly, or plain/okay looking with 1 feet thick make-up. (No offence.) After that, we went to a CD shop called That CD Shop. The store name was so adorable! Ivan : Eh, eh. Where did you buy that CD? Evon : Oh! I got it from That CD Shop. Ivan : Which CD shop? Evon : That CD shop. Ivan : What CD shop? What is the name of that shop? Evon : That CD shop! Ivan : Oh my god. Tell me the name. Evon : That CD shop!!! Ivan : WHAT CD SHOP?! Evon : *smacks head* Imagine if this happens in real life. Day 3: Orchard Road again! Mom went into a shopping frenzy again despite it was Ivan's last day there. We should have gone to Sentosa Island instead! Mom bought a Gucci after being envious of my aunt's bag. So much for being jobless and too poor to buy luxurious things. I cannot believe it when just a few days back, she told Ivan and I not to spend so much on stuffs that are not necessary to us, and to save up our money for our education. Anyway, we met up with Aunt Wendy after that. She is my aunt's close friend. With her was Mark. Her 13 years old son. I knew Mark when I was about, 8 years old. We played light sabers together. :D And Butterfly Kisses. (He has this amazingly beautiful eyes when he was younger. He kisses with his eyelashes.) We had Siu Long Paos for dinner. (Dumplings with meat filling and soup in it.) After dinner, we went back home! That is not all. We sat around for a while, and played a round of Scrabble. Tee hee. To my advantage, they did not know that I was the school player when I was in Subang. We ended up making lots of weird words like "Aaaaaa" and "Dryz" and "Ooo". No matter. It was fun. Then, another two hours spent on admiring the night view of Orchard Road. There were Christmas decorations along that road with candy and cupcake theme in mind. Day 4: Woke up at 10.30 a.m. and damn, I was missing someone important. Ivan went back to Malaysia by flying. Another day spent in Takashimaya and my legs were dead heavy as if someone chained my legs to 100 pounds of weights. I was dragging my legs through out the day and mom decided to walk more. Finally, I ended up being all moody. :x Mom, however, was happy that she bought a Coach bag for her cell phone. Drag drag drag. When we reached home, I was so relieved. My aunt, for the first time in our lives, was pooped during a trip to somewhere else. Usually, she's the one that will wake us all up at 6 a.m. to make us all go out with her and walk around the countries we are visiting. Day 5: Back to Malaysia! Got trapped in the traffic from Singaporean Immigration to Malaysian Immigraton for FOUR 1/2 hours. F***. And I broke my phone in the Johor R&R. :< That's all for now, Toodles. <3, von |
