A Whole New Leaf.

Damn, reflecting on my previous posts,

I realize that I am a huge bitch.

So first, I would like to apologize to the people

I have mentioned in here before for offending

you. Please forgive me I know not what I do.

New resolution: Work her ass off.

I secretly think that my new year's resolution would not work.

I was so determined not to make any but whatever, right?

Year 2010; Post #1.

SAM is finally over.

I am afraid I have to admit, I did not do brilliantly for the external assessment.

I was a major truant and skipped almost every class possible.

HOWEVER

My Tertiary Entrance Rank is slightly higher than the entry requirement for Psychology in HELP university. I know, I know. You would probably think "HAHA! HELP university is helping her! Their standards must be low since they allow people with such low TERs into their program."

But no, HELP university has the biggest Psychology faculty in South East Asia and they have links to lots of prestigious universities via twinning.

What I am going to do after getting a degree;

Probably get Masters in America, hopefully in three years time.

Visit Brandon and Nik.

Get a job.

Sounds decent, eh?

First day of Psychology in HELP university, can't complain.

I started my journey at 6:45 AM but I reached the university at 8:01 AM.

Traffic was brutal!

Nothing much happened except I enrolled into the later class for MC100.

So on Mondays, I would be back home at about 8:00 PM.

During orientation, I made lots of new friends.

(Heh, of course la! People are attracted to me! As if.)

THANK GOD I DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ENGLISH FOR PSYCHOLOGY!

Dr Hera was our first lecturer.

She teaches us Introduction to Psychology 1 and showed us gruesome pictures of the ancient Inca population conducting trephination, which was the act of drilling a hole into a human skull to release evil spirit.

Ms Yen was second.

She teaches us MC100.

During the brief introduction of ourselves, I accidentally said I like to play, as in computer games and stuff, but it sounded somewhat off. Instead of saying GAMES like I wanted to, I said prank people instead, which is one of the fun things Kevin, Thoong Lyn and I did during our friends' birthdays. So, fml.

Mr Albert was third.

He is our lecturer for PSY105, Research Methodology.

Your class was interesting, sir, don't get me wrong but I was falling asleep because I slept late the night before! I had a can of coffee which helped me stay awake a tiny bit.

Mr Kenneth is tomorrow.

I wonder what he would be like.

Hmm.

Memories seem so distant now.

Feels like it has been forever since our

Biology trip to the Botanic Gardens.

I remember kicking my first cake.

I remember hearing my uncle's hand as

it made contact with my father's face.

The distant fear of going out of the

room when my mother and stepfather

quarreled.

The Friday nights we spent watching movies

with occasional Saturday night movies.

Every single week.

The anxiousness of being alone in a new

environment and meeting new college mates.

All so distant now..
